I forgot my wallet/purse/ID at home and need to get this to the courthouse within the hour. Can I just have you notarize the document and come back with my ID?
NO, YOU NEED A VALID PHOTO ID TO GET ANYTHING NOTARIZED AT THE TIME OF THE NOTARIZATION
Driver’s License, State Issued ID, Military ID, Passport
A notary public is not allowed to notarize the document without first screening the identification provided by the signer
Other arrangements can be made to meet once the customer has their ID (additional travel fee may apply)
I have paperwork that needs to be filled out and notarized but I have no idea where to begin? Can you fill them out for me?
It is illegal for the notary to prepare such legal paperwork for the customer, then notarize
It is an unauthorized practice of law that can lead to the notary being fined, imprisoned, or both!

I have something I want notarized but it doesn’t have any notary wording. Can you still notarize it?
Yes, but understand that a loose certificate will be stapled to said document and must never come unattached
You need to choose if a Jurat or Acknowledgment is needed
To determine what kind of notarization is needed
Ask the place you got the document from or taking it to, OR
Make a judgment based on your situation and the wording of each certificate

I haven’t filled out the paperwork yet. Can you notarize it and I will fill it out later?
No, you will need to have all lines filled out
NO BLANK SPACES
If something does not apply put N/A
Depending on the notary wording, it may require that you swear that the contents of the document are factual and true
If you don’t have anything written you can’t swear to it being true
It also leaves the document open to fraud to leave blanks
Someone could come along later and add information you did not agree to
DO NOT SIGN until in front of the notary
You may fill the document out but wait until in front of the notary to sign on any signature lines
Can I email the document(s) over to have you notarize it?
You may send an attachment via email to email@example.com
Do not sign the document prior to sending
You will still need to meet with the notary in person with your Valid Photo ID to notarize the signature on the document
If you do not have a printer, printing is available included up to 50 pages
